Profile: Anum is a part of CERP's capacity building team which works to increase the use of evidence in policy making in Pakistan. Before joining CERP, she worked as an economic consultant in London on a variety of projects in the health and media and technology space. She also keeps an eye on the education sector and has previously worked for a Lahore based NGO in trying to build workplace skills among university graduates in Pakistan. Her other interests include: women's issues (her MPhil thesis looked at the quality of female leisure time in Pakistan), environmental degradation (and the responsibility of economists in relation to it), religion, fitness (always trying to find good running spaces in Lahore), food (baking, breads, brunch) Anum has a BSc. (Hons) in Economics from LUMS and an M.Phil in Economics from the University of Cambridge.

Profile: Alieha completed her undergraduate degree from LUMS in 2013 and was awarded the NMF Goldmedal for achieving distinction in the Humanities. Following this, she was first employed by Netsol Technologies to set up a soft skills training centre for its employees. She later joined Acasus as an Associate for the Chief Minister’s Health Reforms Roadmap team. Alieha then pursued an MSc degree in Social Policy and Development from the London School of Economics and Political Science as a Common wealth scholar.

Profile: Zain joined CERP as Research Associate, Governance Project. He acquired his Master in Economics from Tilburg University, where he worked with Thorsten Beck on financial development in South Asia. Later, he worked on labour policy evaluation at JPAL-affiliate CREST and taught at Sciences-Po Aix. His interests lie in behavioural and experimental economics, institutional change and public service delivery.

Profile: Talha Arshad is a Field Coordinator on the State Authority Project. He completed his MSc (Accounting & Finance) from The University of Lahore in 2014. His main duties are in working with Project Coordinator & RAs to help with research study design and translations and assisting Project Team with day to day workings on survey questions, transcriptions and data entry, where necessary. His research interests include Social Welfare, Finance and Survey Management. Prior to joining CERP, Talha worked in The Urban Unit as a Field Researcher for Urban Immoveable Property Tax Project.
