Sara Hafeez Kazi

Profile: Sara Kazi is the Senior Research Associate on the Social Norms Project at CERP. She completed her Masters of Arts in Human Development and Social Intervention from New York University (NYU) as a Fulbright Scholar,  NYU Steinhardt Graduate Scholarship Awardee, and Women’s International Leadership Fellow in 2017. Previously, she served as a Research Associate at the Aurat Foundation and NYU, working on gender violence and the effects of gender socialization on female achievement. She has also conducted extensive research on masculinity and femininity in Pakistan to design gender education programs at the community level. Sara has also led women’s entrepreneurship and financial literacy programs as Program Manager at the Aman Foundation.

Anum Mustafa

Profile: Anum is a part of the Punjab Economic Opportunities Program (PEOP) at CERP which works to promote poverty alleviation through skills training and labor market opportunities with a focus on the labor force participation and empowerment of women. Before joining CERP, she worked as an economic consultant in London on a variety of projects in the health and media and technology space. She also keeps an eye on the education sector and has previously worked for a Lahore based NGO in trying to build workplace skills among university graduates in Pakistan. Her other interests include: women's issues (her MPhil thesis looked at the quality of female leisure time in Pakistan), environmental degradation (and the responsibility of economists in relation to it), religion, fitness (always trying to find good running spaces in Lahore), food (baking, breads, brunch) Anum has a BSc. (Hons) in Economics from LUMS and an M.Phil. in Economics from the University of Cambridge.
