Profile: Mariam R. Vadria is the Research Manager for Tracking Hope in Karachi project at the Center for Economic Research in Pakistan. She was previously working with the Punjab CM’s Health Department as a consultant to help improve monitoring systems in Punjab. She has also worked with DataKind in New York City helping them understand their audience outreach and online marketing. Mariam has prior corporate and non-profit sector experiences. Mariam was a Fulbright and Maguire Fellow at Columbia University. She completed her Masters of Public Administration in Economic and Political Development with a specialization in data management in 2016. Her research interests include global inequality, poverty alleviation and data management for social impact.

Kate Vyborny is a Postdoctoral Associate in the Department of Economics at Duke University, USA.  She holds a D.Phil. (Ph.D.) in economics from the University of Oxford, England, where she held the Rhodes Scholarship.  Kate’s research focuses on public service delivery, urban development and public transportation, and gender.  Kate is a visiting faculty member at the Lahore School of Economics and the Lahore University of Management Sciences.  Kate previously worked on development assistance effectiveness at the Center for Global Development, and on trade and development at the Carnegie Endowment for International Peace.  She holds bachelor’s degrees in Economics and International Affairs from the University of Georgia, USA.

Profile: Minahil completed her undergraduate from the Lahore University of Management and Sciences in 2016 and Served at CERP as a Communications Assistant. At LUMS she was a student of social sciences with a focus on literature, politics, and religion. She has an avid interest in interfaith dialogue, including community growth and integration of marginalized minorities into the mainstream. She has also been a Fellow in the USA for a Religion and Conflict Resolution program. Before joining CERP, Minahil was at the forefront of projects in the field of dialogue, education, and promotion of religious coexistence and founded an initiative called HumAahang. At CERP she is managing the Communications, External Relations, and Outreach. Her efforts are geared towards making evidence understood in policy design and sharing CERPs research and outcomes with all stakeholders
