Evidence-Based Program Design (EBPD) workshop, an initiative of Global Evaluation Initiative, took place at CERP between 5th-8th December 2022.

The 4-day workshop brought together a diverse set of participants from the government, development sector, bureaucracy and academia.

Through this training, participants learnt how to design and implement programmes using a highly structured evidence-based approach.

The workshop trains participants with the technical tools required to apply a structured and highly practical approach to programme design and implementation, incorporating economic theory and evidence at every stage to maximise programme effectiveness. In conjunction with rigorous modules on the fundamental areas that are critical to designing and implementing development programmes, participants were also divided into groups and assigned deliverables for designing an effective and impactful program during the course of the workshop.
