Edutainment is an education method in which different media or publication channels are used to educate the masses. As compared to formal education method edutainment helps in the understanding of the abstract concept in a much easier and faster way. This study will focus on norms with respect to household investment in health and education. It will also investigate the cost-effectiveness of the interventions targeted to men and women. Moreover, it also aims to create an understanding of the way households' bargain about education and economic empowerment."

The Principal investigators of the project are Professor Paul Collier, Blavatnik School of Government, University of Oxford, Dr. Karlijn Morsink, Blavatnik School of Government, University of Oxford, Dr. Rachel Cassidy, Institute for Fiscal Studies, Dr. Wendy Janssens, Vrije Universiteit Amsterdam.

PERI is a statutory body connected with the Planning and Development Board of the Government of Punjab. It is mandated to conduct socio-economic research on vital provincial and national issues. It also supports the Government of Punjab in planning and development initiatives.
