CERP conducts a Two-Day Workshop on ‘Policy Skills and Leadership’ at Balochistan Civil Services Academy

CERP is embarking on an exciting collaboration with the Government of Balochistan, particularly the Balochistan Civil Services Academy (BCSA).

This partnership signifies another milestone in our collective pursuit of building a ‘culture of evidence’ at all levels of decision-making and implementation across the public sector. As part of this collaboration, CERP will be conducting two essential trainings: the Policy Skills & Leadership (PS&L) and the Building Capacity to Use Research Evidence (BCURE) programmes from June 5 to June 8, 2023, at the Balochistan Civil Services Academy. Mr Maroof Syed, CEO Center for Economic Research in Pakistan (CERP) and Visiting Fellow at Harvard University KSG, will be leading the workshops.

The PS&L training is designed to equip participants with a comprehensive understanding of the potential and underlying challenges in policy-making and empower them to lead better and well-supported policy reforms with a profound impact. Additionally, BCURE is designed to enhance technical skills and motivation for effectively utilising data and evidence by equipping participants with the necessary tools and knowledge.
