Ahmad completed his MA in Economics from the University of Glasgow in 2011. Since then he has worked for the World Bank’s Poverty Reduction and Economic Management unit where he co-authored and managed the World Bank’s Pakistan Poverty Updates. He has extensive experience in the field of poverty alleviation and has contributed to international institutions like the Oxford University Poverty & Human Development Initiative and RAND as well as to local organizations like the Swat Relief Initiative. His future plans include pursuing research on global inequality trends and coordinating efforts for effective poverty reduction strategies. He had been associated with CERP in 2014 where he served as the Project Coordinator for the Punjab Economic Opportunities Program.
