Azam Chaudhry is an Associate Professor and the Dean of the Department of Economics. He received his BSc (Hons) from the London School of Economics and MA and PhD degrees from Brown University. He has taught at Boston University and Brown University and has also worked with the World Bank in Washington D.C. He teaches macroeconomics and econometrics in the BSc and MS/MPHIL Economics programmes and is the editor of the Lahore Journal of Economics. His areas of research interest include institutional economics, political economy, economic development and growth, and innovation and technology.
