David G. Atkin

Assistant Professor

Dr. David Atkin is currently an Associate Professor at MIT. Previously he was an Assistant Professor at UCLA and prior to that at Yale University.

His research interests are Development and International Trade. He focuses on evaluating the impacts of trade liberalisation on the poor in the developing world by using the microeconometric tools and the large household datasets common in applied economics to analyse trade and development issues.

Dr. Atkin has an MA in Economics from Cambridge University and received his PhD in Economics from Princeton University.
