Maria Hasan was the Communications and Outreach Officer at CERP where she played a pivotal role in managing external relationships and supporting the capacity building team at CERP. Her key responsibilities included communicating with donors, partners, and the public, and designing and implementing monitoring programs. Maria hails from a strong academic background with a Masters Degrees in Comparative Politics from the London School of Economics, a Masters Degree in Law and Diplomacy from the Fletcher School, and a Bachelor’s Degree from the LUMS. She was a U.S. Fulbright Scholar and a P.J.D. Wiles Scholar at LSE. Before joining CERP Maria worked on monitoring and evaluation projects in Haiti, the United Kingdom, the United States, and Pakistan. Currently, Maria is working as an Associate Expert, Disaster Risk Reduction at the United Nations Office of Disaster Reduction (UNISDR), New York.
