Sarah Shaukat is the Research Associate on the Punjab Economics Opportunities Program (PEOP) at CERP. She has a keen interest in the political economy of development and International Economics; her graduate thesis investigated the impact of terrorism on trade in Pakistan using the theory-consistent gravity model. She is a Commonwealth Scholar and holds an MSc. in Economics from the London School of Economics and Political Science (LSE) and a BSc. (Hons) in Economics from Lahore University of Management Sciences (LUMS). Her previous work experience includes working as a Research Analyst at the Nishat Group and teaching Economics to undergraduate students.
