Sher Afghan completed his Masters in Economics from LUMS in 2011. Before Served at CERP he worked as a development practitioner in Punjab Skills Development Fund (PSDF), Bahawalpur where his role was to design poverty alleviation techniques through skill provision/enhancement to a marginalized population. His work with the Procurement Project focuses on the establishment of incentive-based and game proof systems for the government. He is interested in Institutional Economics, Poverty Alleviation and Economic Development of third world countries.
