Zain Chaudhry is a PhD candidate in Economics at Heidelberg University. He holds an MSc in
Economics from Tilburg University. His research interests lie in development economics, in particular
public policy design, political economy and social norms. He studies these issues using lab-in-the-field
experiments, quasi-natural experiments and randomized controlled trials (RCTs).
He is affiliated with Mannheim University and his work has been supported by grants from the International Growth Centre (IGC), DAAD, The Punjab Commission on the Status of Women (PCSW) and Saida Waheed Gender Initiative, LUMS.
